“We have this belief that we are going to go on forever, but of course, we will not.”
Sue Williston joins the Svelte Yeti Podcast today, in a very heart-felt and personal interview on embracing change, staying active, and insights on beating cancer. With only a few short months to her 70th birthday, Sue shares with grace her experience as a mother willing to redesign her life, and the power of active aging. She is proof that we are only held back by the limitations we place on ourselves.
Power is knowing that you can reinvent yourself at any juncture in life, whether out of need for change, or as a response to crisis. It is clear that many, if not most, feel paralyzed by what life throws our way. Moreover, it makes sense how easy it is to turn to maladaptive habits to ease emotional pain; truth be told, we all make this choice at one time or another.
Sue shares her insights and struggles that have shaped her into a powerful agent of change. I have known sue for a little over seven years now. If there is one characteristic that continues to impress me, it is her forward thinking approach, sensitive and caring nature, and devotion to family and friends. In times of need, Sue is right there, even before you ask.
