“Solitude is the Heart’s Meditation”

Solitude and Medication

Solitude comes in many forms.  Today we walked around the Stanley Park Seawall, a distance of approximately 10k.  This, of course, was followed by a wonderful dinner at Meet in Gastown, one of our favourite vegan (and gluten free) restaurants in Vancouver.

Even though we were surrounded by dozens of people along the way, I experienced an overwhelming and peaceful sense of solitude as we walked along the water.  You know that you have a wonderful marriage when spending time together can be a meditative experience.

Not only am I blessed to live in such a beautiful city, I am also lucky to be married to someone whom I am so deeply comfortable with.
