“I have GOT to deal with this bear phobia!”

14054788_10154544570559382_822965088_nBack by popular demand, Liz Garrett joins the show today to catch us up on the latest news.  Today was an amazing conversation between friends sharing their experience as vegan athletes.  We discuss previous and upcoming races, training strategies and our individual approaches using pace training, zone training, and a combination of the both.  Liz also celebrates starting a local No Meat Athlete chapter and the completion of the groups first official run.

Knowing that the holiday season is just around the corner (sorry America, up here in Canada, we already started), Liz celebrates her multiple upcoming Thanksgiving Dinners, and strategies for staying healthy.  The holidays is a time to relax, but that does not mean losing fitness.

Finally, as New Years is only a few short weeks away, we contemplate fitness goals for 2017.  Liz looks forward to her first marathon experience, and Jerod wants to get over his new found phobia of bears so he can enter a local trail race.
