“The Hoka One One Clifton 3 running shoe is finally available!”

The Is Nothing Better

The much-anticipated update to the Clifton series became available mid July.  I was able to get a pair from The Right Shoe in Vancouver two weeks ago.  After having an opportunity to put some klicks on these bad boys, I have to say, I am immensely impressed!

Hoka did an amazing job keeping what worked, and updating where improvements were needed.  In particular, the toe box in the Clifton 2 was murder, causing even the toughest runner to shudder with dread.  I myself experienced the painful “between-the-toe” blisters and forefoot cramping from the little-to-none wiggle room.

The Clifton 3 now rocks an expanded toe box, not to mention an improved heal cup.  Hoka also gave us some new flashy colours and kept the long flat shoe laces we all loved.

My Review

Check out my YouTube video review of this go-to shoe for short to mid range distances.  I will use them on my upcoming Fall 10k and half-marathon races! Excited!
