Sharing Food Is Sharing Love

Food builds relationships.  In the Killick household, food is a central part of our day-to-day conversation with each other, especially over the weekend.  We spend much of our work week discussing and planning meals, always on the lookout for new things to try.

If you are vegan, especially, vegan gluten free, meal planning is essential.  I am always disappointed when people leave the vegan lifestyle because they are overwhelmed by the level of meal prep required.

If you don’t do most of your own cooking, vegan prepared foods are expensive, thus out of reach for most.  The bottom line is that you must learn to cook!  But do not fret!  Take your time, cook with a friend, and enjoy the world of sharing food.

If you are single, as many of our readers are, food and cooking is an amazing opportunity for you to build community.  Invite a vegan friend over for dinner.  Make a big deal of it – plan – purchase – and prep an awesome culinary experience for your guest.  There is nothing wrong with making food a central part of your relationships with others.
