“If you are losing faith in human nature, go out and watch a marathon.”

by Kathrine Switzer

What is required to complete a marathon?  It requires an ability to get out the door everyday, put one foot in front of the other, recover, and do it all again the following day.

The last 10k of the marathon distance is where the marathon actually begins.  It is here where you learn who you are and what you are made of.  You will often hear runner say, “dig deep” to get through the challenging times.  Once you force yourself to do so, you learn about the resources you never knew you had.

If every human ran the distance, the world would be an amazing place, a place where everyone understood their potential, a place where hard work and intra-personal development is valued over the result.
