Yup, another race feather to put in my cap!  This morning I completed the 2016 5k Resolution Run put on by The Running Room in Vancouver.  It was such a good time!

Like my past two 10k races, I entered this race not sure if I was, a) going to treat this like a fun run, or b) attempt a PB.  As in the previous races, right when the whistle went off, I said to myself, “Fuck it!  You are going to kick this course in the ass!”.

I am proud of my new 5k PB of 27:24.  I remember my first 5k when I was several pounds heavier at 43ish minutes.  I am so proud of how far I have come; running teaches me every day that I can push myself to even further limits I never thought possible.  This is a fab day indeed.
