Running in the cold should not feel like your worst nightmare hack and slash movie, right?!
Being chilled sucks! There are mornings when I am horrified to get out there in the early morning weather! Once you master the mental game of bad weather run days, it is essential to know what the hell to wear.
knowing that I am headed out into the misery, and knowing that I am going to feel chilled at one point in my run or another, often kills motivation. I feel most chilled at the beginning and end of long run efforts. The dread is caused by a series of bad experiences as a result of being unprepared.
